  A relaxed outdoor terrace used throughout the day, from morning coffee and light breakfast to afternoon tea and evening drinks. The terrace functions as an outdoor sitting room that invites guests to linger.

• Tea & Coffee

  Daily, 3pm to 9pm, in the Breakfast Lounge

  We brew Grade-A quality Kenyan tea and quality Java coffee daily within the breakfast lounge, so that our residents can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day.

• The Lobby Lounge

  A comfortable indoor sitting room for coffee, conversation and informal meetings. Set in a calm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to unwind or meet friends and colleagues from morning through evening.

• The Palacina Club

  Daily from 6pm, jazz trio on Thursdays

  Enjoy live music each evening, with a pianist playing soft jazz and standards. Every Thursday, a jazz trio (piano, trumpet or saxophone, and bass) revives Palacina’s historic jazz nights.

  Palacina’s most premium space. It combines home-style comfort with a professional feel, offering custom seating, a dining area and garden views. It can be set up as a boardroom or for a cocktail event, and works well for high-level functions, private dining and networking.

In an effort to conserve valuable water resources, we only launder items when absolutely necessary.

Your personal Jacuzzi

Your bathtub is equipped with Jacuzzi jets. Kindly observe the following:

1. The tub must be full of water before you turn on the Jacuzzi jets.
2. To turn on the jets, simply push the silver button located on the lower corner of the tub.
3. Do not use soap, oil or conditioner with the Jacuzzi jets, as this will clog the pumps.
4. Only clean tap water, please.

Fire Safety

Important notice in the event of fire

On arrival

• Always familiarise yourself with the hotel environment and the location of the exits, fire extinguishers and fire hose reels.
• The building is equipped with fire extinguishers and water hose reels on every landing.

If you discover a fire

1. Immediately inform the nearest member of staff.
2. Attack the fire with a fire extinguisher, if possible, without taking any personal risk.
3. Leave the building immediately, using the nearest available open path, and go towards the parking area.
4. Proceed to the assembly point in an orderly manner. No running.

• All buildings must be evacuated.
• Do not re-enter the building until a Fire Marshal tells you it is safe to do so.

Please show concern for others and help where necessary, without placing yourself in any danger.
